Next Step?

Post by sddevaney » Mon Jan 01, 2018 10:55 am

I have a 1983 GW with 32,000 miles on it. Had some brake issues in '16. Finally got them taken care of in early '17. I'm building a house and didn't have time (or good weather) to get out on it before August. Checked all the fluids (been starting it every other month), started it up and let it warm up. I went to get my helmet and heard it die. Went out and there was a puddle of oil behind the large kickstand (it was dripping down it). Is there a rear seal back there that went out? What's my next step - can't see anything up there. Any help would be appreciated - I can't find anyone to work on it - I'm having rotator cuff surgery tomorrow, so it will be a while until I can get at it.
