Low pressure light

Post by saltydawg1967 » Sat Oct 23, 2010 10:53 pm

1982 Gl1100 Goldwing. I just put on a new set of Progressive 416. I used their air lines and such because of the numerous leaks between the compressor and the rear shocks. Anybody know how to turn off the red low pressure warning light? It drives me nuts!

Any help appreciated.

Where did you hook their air lines into the air system? If memory serves, if you disconnect the pressure switch (located on the air splitter, right next to the rear brake master cylinder), it will disable this light. I'm pretty sure just disconnecting it will turn the light off - if not, then just jumper the switch to ground to disable it - it's one or the other, but I seem to recall that disconnecting it disables it.

I plugged my 416's directly into that splitter, and my air pressure light works normally.
