I have a 1983 GL1100A and the Clarion II radio has not worked right since I bought the bike this past June.
This past week, I finally got the time to take the dash module apart. I found burnt circuits on the selector switch for AM and FM. There are a total of 12 pins on the switch, but only 6 are used in the Clarion II module. There are four circuit traces that leave the switch as two sets of two pins each share circuit traces. I have found and repaired the reason for the burnt circuits, but I now need a schematic to rewire the AM/FM selector switch back into the system. The circuit traces on the printed circuit membrane are too badly burnt to make any details or I would go by it as I have sometimes been able to in the past when repairing electronics.
The image that giffen49 uploaded at http://images.goldwingdocs.com/?img=00349-00250.jpg shows the switch at the lower left of the image. (This is the image I used below) But, due to the fact the printed circuit membrane is laying sideways in the image, it doesn't do me any good.
Does anyone have a schematic, or a picture of the switch that visibly shows which circuit trace connects to which pin on the switch?
Thank you, in advance, for your assistance!
