Fuel Tank

Post by Pellet44 » Sun Feb 18, 2018 10:27 pm

Hi
Sorry if this has already been covered i have been searching for some info Im a Newbee Goldwing owner 1983, 1100.
I bought it for $100, its in pieces i am currently putting it back together.
I am embarrassed to ask as it must be something obvious but i have to put the fuel tank back in (i have been reading all about it ).
The tank as far as i can see has an opening to put the fuel in and another opening for what im guessing is the fuel gauge reader ?.
My question is where do i hook up the fuel line i cant see anywhere to hook up the fuel petcock?
Any help appreciated

The fuel line attaches to the bottom of the petcock. The petcock attaches to the right lower side of the tank by 2 screw, pan, 6 x 12.

The top of the tank you will have a gasket, base (P.# 37801-689-000)
The fuel sending unit and retainer (P. # 37802-371-000)
