How can I easily make my 82 goldwing GL1100 a little louder than stock ?

Might can take the baffles out of the muffler.

Drill holes in the baffles, or just take them out.

But GL1100 exhausts in good shape are worth a fair bit of money. You might want to consider taking your exhaust pipes off, selling them, buying a set of new Harley pipes to put on instead, and using some of the left over money to buy yourself something else as well!

Ive just put a set of sportster mufflers on my 82 the stock had rotted at the end of the header so i found a part of exhaust of different sizes at a autostore and welded it on the mufflers lined up spot on with the header and stock mounting hole and boy does it ever sound good

I saw one called Winnie on youtube if it sounds that good then you did well there , Sir..Looks good too..

Oh, I'm sure that guy would get a charge out of seeing yours.. I sure would, I want to see someone put one of these modern type exhaust on it, you know the big one's like on the Concours or FJR's..

That exhaust should attract some folks over to see your bike, A Honda with Harley exhaust pipes, man.. you have got the best of both Worlds there..

yeah it reminds me of the Kawasaki off of the mad max movies thats how it sounds to me . It has a deep sounding throb at idle and just gets better as you ride
