I just used your excellent procedure to remove my rear tire and clean and re-grease the splines. It took me about 4 hours to get the wheel off, and about as long to clean and grease everything. Thanks for the excellent writeup. Thanks to you I saved about $100 by taking the wheels off the bike to get my new Dunlop Elite 3 tires mounted. I printed the entire procedure out and took it out into the garage to guide me through it.

I got it done just in time for the temp to drop to around 30 tonight. Oh well.

Next up is to rebuild the front forks and put in a set of Progressive Suspension fork springs.
