New Wing Owner

Hello, Just got an 83 Aspencade, runs great but the rear brake squeeks and feels like its dragging. Does this mean that i will have to have the breaks redone or is there something i can try before committing hundreds of $$$ for a brake job?

I too just aquired a gl1200 with a draging rear brake.I compleatly dissasembled it,scraped, polished, and reassembled it.I reused everything.Enough corrosion under the seals bound the pistons. It took a couple of hours.Plenty of posts about rebuilding brakes here.

I had the same problem with my 82 Aspencade when I first got it. Rebuilding the rear caliper solved the problem.
