how to remove the tach cable from the engine

Postby keithallensmith » Thu Mar 03, 2011 6:33 pm

I am pulling the engin on my 81 1100, but my manual tells me to pull the tach cable from the motor, but not how to accomplish this, I have looked, and can't find any bolts, or set screws, does it just pull out, or is it supposed to screw out?
