Frame color

Postby Newport » Mon Mar 21, 2011 4:16 am

I am completely dismantling one of 7 Australian delivered 83 Aspy bikes and it needs the frame blasted and re-coated.
The bike is the silver and charcoal colors and I will probably have it re-pained in the lighter color only as to have it done in the two colors is just too expensive and it seems that I cannot buy a pinstripe kit for a bike of these colours (there's the work color with an included "u" as we do here in Australia).
Does anyone know of a suitable pinstripe kit?
Has anyone ever done a bike with a different color frame?
I have been thinking of red.
Comments welcomed?

Have you considered a silver frame?

That might be a good option and I will give it some serious thought.
Thanks for commenting

I'd given a fleeting thought to stripping mine down and having the frame nickel plated......
