Tach Rear Suspension Air Pressure Light

Postby bamadave » Mon Apr 18, 2011 9:50 pm

Anyway I can turn off or disconnect the tach rear suspension air pressure light?
I was hoping a ground wire maybe near the rear shocks or something, making this light go out but I still want a tach light for night time.
Thanks, Dave

The pressure switch is in a fitting very close to the rear brake master cylinder. You'll see the wire going into it there. I believe if you disconnect that wire, you will disable that light. If not, then ground it (one or the other will work).

Unplugged a wire inside the right side cover and the light did not go out.
I am not sure this is the right one so I have not tryed grounding to the frame because I did not want to damage wire connector if not the right one. Also not sure how to ground unless with a small clamp?

it might be just as easy to take the tach apart and take the bulb out.
