i just got a honda gold wing and i was wondering what the light on the rpm gauge is for, it says when lit reduce speed to under 50 mph

It's the air suspension warning light. If the air pressure in the rear shocks falls below a set limit, that light should illuminate. It should also light up for 5 seconds when you first turn the ignition on.

10-4 The pressure switch is located on the air fill block,under the right cover,just in front of the rear wheel,inside the framework.

Note sometimes it's not the pressure but the contact for the wire ground..clean it all up and then see it your light stays on.

Go to the top of this page and click on manuals and download the manual for this bike ,Has it been sitting for a long time ?

for at least three years i worked on the carbs about 6 months ago and finally getting to the fun part if he'll come down on the price
