At 950 rpm my oil light flickers, Stops once I hit 1050. I checked the clearances while in the engine and all seemed ok. Changed the pressure switch to my backup with same results. Is this normal?

I don't have that symptom but I also use 20-50w.possible problems,pump,clogged filter,out of tolerances,or even a clogged oil pickup screen(bottom,right,behind cover)

Or the worst case scenario, excessive wear in the engine meaning the oil pump cannot achieve the required flow and hence not enough pressure.. This is at idle where pressure is low, but I have not heard of other goldwings with the same problem so I think you have a problem, just not sure how you find the cause. There is a pressure relief valve on the output of the oil pump to stop the pressure getting too high at high engine speeds, it might be that there is some dirt in the valve preventing it from closing completely.. Either way I think you are going to have to open the engine and check the oil pump and relief valve for wear, and if they are okay then onto the main crankshaft bearings.. Fingers crossed it's just a sticking pressure relief valve!!

Low oil level will cause that too.
Condition Black: Not in any particular state of mental readiness but still prepared and willing to kill everything in your general area without provocation.
Same problem here, but only after the engine gets hot. Mine is a GL1200 - but I think you can remove the sender and screw in a guage to check the pressure easily without removing the engine. I'd do that prior to puttling the engine. The normal pressure is kina low if I recall the book, something like 7 to 14 PSI at idle.

Check the oil screen for blockage before opening the engine!

Could be that the Gauze filter on the suction side of the Oil pump has foreign bodies in it. I have had this before as the gauze filter ( not the replaceable Oil filter on the front of the engine!!!) tends to pick up worn clutch material amongst other debris very well. Remover the filter ( botton of engine on the right hand side) and have a look. Its its clear then attach a pressure gauge in place of the pressure sender and check the actual pressure against the manual recommendation. Good Luck
