how fast do you want to go? I usually shift no lower than 3000rpm and as high as redline if I am in a hurry to get up some speed.Dont be afraid of the redline, these motors love to rev. Try passing a semi at 60mph by dropping to 3rd gear, the engine revs but is still well below redline and you get some good acceleration in a hurry.Plus you have two gears to go when you need to shift.Dont be afraid she will hold together just fine. The redline is that high for a reason.Just make sure you know the age of your timing belts.
Ride safe, Todd

Depends on what the cop is driving. :o
If it was that easy everyone would be doing it!
