New to me 83 GL1100I, Carbs

Ok, I just finished rebuilding the carbs :D . Judging from the lacquer build-up, it has been parked for quite a few years :( All the jets and ports were plugged to some extent. 10 cans of carb cleaner and 2 gallons of distilled water fixed that :) I will be putting them back in the bike tomorrow. Will let you all know if that allows me to start the engine and warm it up to do the full oil change. Timing belts are done :) Still have to set the valves but want to get the carbs back on first.

Carbs are back in.... :) Bike starts right up within 3 seconds. still have a knock under 1800 rpm.

Did you ever have one of those OH SH!T moments..... I was thinking about the rebuild and the bench sync i did on the carbs. I decided to look in the boxes i used to keep the carbs separate while i rebuilt each one, I always keep the old parts to check and make sure i did not forget anything, and noticed that the little washer and o-ring for the idle adjuster screw on the carb was not in the box for #4 carb. now i have to pull the carbs again and check to make sure there are not 2 washers and O-rings in #4. Well another day shot.
