gl1100 rear brake pedal

i am restoring a 83 standard, and i am trying to get the rear pedal off and i have been soaking in penantrating oil for about a week, the problem is the washer is really rusted on there. do i try some heat to see if loosens up ? i tried moing with my air cheisel still no go.

You did remove the cotter pin? once that is removed the pedal should come right off with little force.

well with a lot of heat i was able to get the rusted washer off.
