How does the reservoir come off the perch ? I need to replace the "oil cup" ,thats what Honda calls the m/c reservoir. It's leaking underneath,I suspect at the oring. I just dont want to break it when removing it.

The cap screws are what holds it on. Once the screws are removed it can be pulled out of the master cylinder - the only thing holding it in place is the O-ring. Of course, it's been there for close to 30 years, so it may take a bit of convincing to get it out.
