needing parts

Help, needing a 1980 gl1100I trunk seal, tired of hearing lid rattle and latches coming loose

Mine (and my bags) have some aftermarket automotive weatherstripping that is glued in place, and works very well to seal - it came that way when I got the bike. You might want to look into that.

or any rubber tubing that's about the right size. split it open and fit on to the lip, close lid and let it sit in the sun for a few hours.
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

Go to your local junk yard and go look at Honda cars should find a good match

duh,(slapping forehead, thats why i have a flat forehead), all are good ideas, really dont need oem parts. off the subject, took my 80 gw to the harley dealer to help dad check out a used bike, should have seen all the harley mechs out there ogleing my baby, even without all her makeup. see, harley people are human too.
