rightside blinker trouble

Post by rpsanders » Sun Jul 24, 2011 11:48 am

My black and gold baby has a full Vetter set so the wiring isn't pristine but still 99% functional, now 98%.

the left side blinker works fine but the right comes on and stays on. I've got a small current tester but i don't know where to start.

Have you changed the blinker fuse? Have you checked the buld on that side?
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.

For the flasher to flash there has to be a certain amount of current draw. Somewhere in the blinker switch or between the switch and the lamps you have a loose or corroded connection or lamp socket. Clean and tighten everything in that circuit.
