1983 Goldwing 1100 Aspencade
I notice that sometimes that when I put the bike on the side stand and park it for several hours, white smoke comes out for about 10 seconds when I go to start it.
I have a digital temperature gauge and it always runs one bar above normal and in the city and highway, it may run 2 bars above normal in the city but goes back to one bar above at 55mph. That seems to be the norm.
I just had the head gasket replaced about 8 months ago and it seems like the same symptoms. Is it normal for the head gasket to be replaced this often?
The guy that did it the work did a visual check and felt the cylinders and there seemed to be no cracks in the cylinder.
Any input would be appreciated.

Pull all spark plugs keep them separate as to which cylinder they came from and see if there is visual difference in them, And no You should not have replace head gaskets every year unless the cylinder head is warped.
