ut-oh, what did I do ?

Postby fordnutjm » Sat Sep 17, 2011 6:21 pm

Hello all, I had to rewire all the lights on the rear, (and there are a few). Some how I grounded a hot wire and now I dont get any power at all. Not headlight, or instrument lights or anything. Would this be a bad ignition switch? Or solenoid ? If solenoid, is the it right beside the battery ?

Have you checked your main dog-bone fuse to the right of your battery, also how about your other fuses. Hal

If you grounded the battery,it may just be DEAD. If you have nothing ,start at the source...
Get your checker out and start at the battery...

Have a look at the fuses in the main fuse box located in the false tank. There is a fuse there for the lights ( I did the same thing!!!!)
