I made a deal with fella 40 miles from me for an '83 Aspencade and extra motor for a grand. Problems I found so far is he had a car battery in trunk to replace bad bat.(may have wrecked electrical) Has all kinds of added wiring that will have to go. It got rear ended while parked and got replacement parts from '82I. Starter button sticks so he added a push button on fairing rather than fix original. Most ignition wiring looks fried. Holes in exhaust that easy to fix. He removed compressor and wiring and just set it back in. CB, radio, and intercom works but no sound. Choke is tight and only activate in last 1/2 inch. Gears change good but can not shift to neutral while stopped. Startes easily but runs rough and runs reeaall rich. Took 1/2 tank to go 40 miles.

I figure it be another 2 months till I finish bike barn ( see part of it in pic), then I have to swap voyager kit to bella to make wife happy. After that I can start on Acadia.

I have projects for several winters and some summers too. Bella is my only running bike ATM and she needs a front tire. Wife wants me to put voyager kit on bella so she can ride now. I am starting to think Trixies problem is not sprague clutch but starter gears. After rebuilding starter it started good till it make a clink and a grind and then nothing but starter would spin. Did several seafoam in oil treatments and no help at all.
