Just wanted to thank you all for such a detailed group of "how to's"
I rebuilt (over the last 6 months) an '83 Aspencade w/35Kmiles on it. I rebuilt all 3 calipers, both master cylinders, changed the oil in the forks and rear end, put in new plugs, put on new timing belts, new oil/filter, flushed the cooling system and installed new hoses, thermostat.I replaced the fuel lines/filter. I sent the carbs off to Pistol Pete's (great shop) and put on new Metzlers.
NO WAY IN HELL I could have done this without the amazing how-to's at this site. I know my way around the bike now, thanks to y'all.
Thanks again! It took me a while to get used to riding a big (to me) bike, but I sure like it now
ps- site admin: I used to be logged in as KYWinger but couldn't get back in....
