Clutch lever hard to squeeze

Post by silverider » Sun Nov 06, 2011 9:53 pm

I have a 1983 GL1100 interstate and find the clutch lever very hard to squeeze compared to my GL1500 and Yamaha V-Star 1100.
I am an old man but take pride in my firm hand shake.
Is this something i have to live with or can the spring tension
be lowered?
Thanks for any help. :?:

No change in springs but a new $25 cable can make a big improvement.the old cables can drag.

And a extra clutch cable in your box is a great idea just in case.... :D
