cover up for the winter?

Searching for a half cover for the winter. Thought your input and experiance would be better than spending money on an item I don't like. Bike will be in a garage, just like to keep dust off without scratching it. A half cover could also be used at motels in summer. Easy on-easy off.Any input would be appreciated. THANK YOU.

I use a full cover to cover mine all of the time an it is no problem getting it on and off. The cheap ones on ebay last me about 6 months during the summer. I use it everyday outside and that is what were it out so fast.
