Dash Gaskets

Postby WINGMOB » Mon Nov 28, 2011 11:14 am

This winter I'll be removing the fairing to check all the connections inside clean and apply some die-electrical grease and to repair some spliced wire bundles from previous owner added accessories, that where removed prior my purchase. Anyways the gaskets around the speaker covers and dash gauge cover starting to split. While I've got everything apart like to replace them any idea where to find them or something equal too.

If you're talking about the split in the gasket at the bottom of the speaker covers, it's supposed to be there - to allow any moisture that may leak in there to drain out, instead of being held behind the speaker.

Those are the ones except mine are splitting at the sides of spreaders and gauge dash.
From what I can tell this fairings has been apart before the moldings may have been damaged during reinstall.
