Removal of faring on '82 GL 1100

Postby jackzw » Thu Dec 29, 2011 12:37 am

I am removing the faring on my '82 GL 1100 Interstate and replacing the front headlight and turn signal lights. There are many wires and connections that need to be changed/re-wired now that the faring is removed. Any suggestion from this forum will be very helpful for example; re-wiring of the new headlight, new signal lights (front), ignition etc.
Thanks in advance-jackzw

Should not be much of a problem..except for fitting all the wires into the headlight bucket..the plug for the light is the same for the stock standard headlight and all H-4's , the wires that go to teh turn signals/marker light can be cut or pulled and then used for the front signals. Not much more to do..I think.
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83

FAIR WINDS,
