Moving Rear Brake

Postby darklancer » Thu Feb 02, 2012 4:48 am

I have a 1980 GL1100 Trike.
I need to move my rear brake to the left due to amputation of my right leg. I have a Kliktronic gear change system on the handlebars so I have space.
has anyone done this before because I am running into trouble and could do with some advise/help/assistance. I have already looked at using a thumb brake but its doubtful if I could get enough leverage to operate the brake successfully given that it needs to work on 2 wheels therefore needing about 60lbs of pressure.
Many Thanx

Mike

Welcome to the site. I did a search and came across a site you might find interesting. It has some riders who ave had modifications done to there bikes. Hope it helps.

There is a mechanic who does these mods.
