I have an 85 Aspencade and had the cassette on my radio repaired just so I could keep the bike original.
I bought a Cardo Q2 Bluetooth comm system a while back and love it. Allows my wife and I to communicate on the bike. I can use my cell phone. It has an MP3 input. I clip my Ipod on my belt and have tunes right in my headset. I just got back from a 1400 mile trip to Indiana. Ran the audio from my Garmin Nuvi to my helmet. Was able to listen to directions without a problem. I also copied 8GB of my favorite tunes to an SD card and put it in the Nuvi. Was able to listen to tunes and GPS. Yeah, I had a cord running from the GPS to my helmet, but it was never a problem.
Cli-MAX Riding Gear had the best price on the comm system.
