I Have an 87 goldwing interstate,Just replaced the starter and adjusted the floats in the carbs so they dont flood just sitting. But now got it all back togeather and finially started it up to find out its only running on 2 cylinders (3and4) Left coil 1 and 2 Right coil have no Fire. how do you check the wires going to the coil the right coil has a positive(yellow/Blue) negitive (Black/White) and the left coil has a positive (Blue /Yellow)negitive Black/white .How do you check these?

If I understand your post right, you have spark to 2 cyls only. I assume you pulled the plugs, left them connected to the wires and cranked engine to see spark at plugs. Yes? Plug wires are in good shape? All wire connections good? Corrosion?

Do you have any repair manuals for the bike?
