I did a quick look but didn't find anything. My BS meter is pegging here, tell me I'm right, this guy got a GL that he either crashed or sold off the plastics and is trying to pull a fast one, right?

It is possible for a stripped down version. According to Steve Saunders 'history of the goldwing' write up, Honda did make an unfaired version of the 1200 in 1984 along with the Interstate and Aspencade. I would check book value before buying. The price is high for a "RARE"? model.

I have a maroon '84 gl1200...Naked bike! I got lucky....The last of the naked bikes...'til the Valkyrie.

In 84 Honda did make a stripped Goldwing commonly called a "Standard". Most agree they only built around 2,000 & only 2 colors, black & maroon. Poorboy
