Installing the Rear Tire question

If I'm seeing this right, thats the shock bolt and it goes into the brake calliper bracket to keep it from turning. I don't recall this being threaded in the bracket. Just keeps it from turning and a small gap should not be a problem. I guess those that know such things would say its a shear fitting and not a compression fitting...... :geek:

Providing you have one of the spacers on either side of the caliper bracket, your good to go

The wheel is not visually centered between the swing arm

The shock bolt just locates in the hole to prevent the caliper from rotating when the brakes are applied.

had the same question about two years ago . tricky help me out then , he knows what he is talking about the space should be there.
