Postby Poohman » Thu Mar 29, 2012 8:07 pm

Ok I had enough of testing parts buying parts that I found bad and not having any luck on get the front two cylinders to fire So, I had enough and took to a Mechanic to fix, and since I live close to Daytona I could not get it looked at until after Bike week :( . Well It has been a couple of weeks since bike week and The mechanic is still covered in Bikes from Bike week. I am ready to get on that Goldwing and not get off once I get it back. I feel like I may have to learn how to ride it all over again LOL HA HA HA !

Nope I haven't gotten it back yet. I am getting a little upset with Jim Walkers Motorcycle shop. I took it there on March 7th and knew that the week following was Bike week at Daytona. Now I am not getting a straight story about what is going on with my Goldwing. First last week i had to call and find out if they had looked at it and they said they were looking into the cars. But when I called Yesterday ( a Week Later) the same guy I talked to said they were still behind and working on bikes from Mid Feb. Well, Did they start on it or not? He said that the techs were off on that day and would have someone call me today (Fridady) and so far half the Day has gone by and no call. I am ready to get the trailer and go pick it up. Does anyone know if this is normal for a Bike shop that is suppose to be really Good? I really could use some good advise.

Do yourself a favor and pull it out of the shop, they obviously have no one capable of working on older motorcycles and shouldn't tout they can repair any older motorcycle.
