85 Interstate - Tire brand question

Postby Yosemite Sam » Tue Apr 24, 2012 1:23 pm

Hello everyone! Does anyone have any experience with (or friends with experience) with Shinko tires? I'm thinking of getting some at my local Shade Tree, and was hoping to get some feedback prior. Thanks a bunch!

Sam

Not that brand in particular but you usually get what you pay for.
I put on a Chenching tire on the rear of my 78 and got a 3800 mile trip out of it.
I put on a Dunlop Elite III and got 9200 miles on it.At 2 1/2 times the cost.
Go figure.

Personally, I think any tire is good new......only time (and miles) will tell the true story.
