Just purchased new Diaphrams for my 85 gl1200. The look a little different than the old original ones and looking at the slide body I see a white like ring that looks like it holds the original diaphrams on. My question is does anyone know or have pictures on how to put the new ones on properly? Pictures would help but I am mechaniclly inclined do to, I work in a machine shop. Thanks for all the Help and God Bless.

Don't know if this will help but get on eBay and look up " BRAND NEW 2PCS CARB SLIDE DIAPHRAGM YAMAHA VIRAGO XV700 XV750 XV920 XV1000 HSC40 ", or just type in xv1000 diaphragm like I did. it gives instructions on replacing diaphragm. you might find more relevent info looking up goldwing diaphragms. Hope this helps otherwise hang on someone here will give better advice.
