pulse generator 86 1200 goldwing asp.

Postby Barrsey1 » Mon Feb 08, 2010 1:56 pm

Thanks WingAdmin for quick response to my stator question. Now my other problems, My 86 Goldwing has no spark on 3&4 cyclinders and coils checks out ok. I wanted to test pulse generator, as manual instructed but cant find the leads or where they come out from back of motor(looked for hours). There is only the 3 stator wires coming from back of motor up to connection by battery box. Is it possable there is no pulse generator, and maybe cdi box is my problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That is because after 84 they are no longer there.

The PG's now reside along side the timing belts at the front of the engine.

Remove the top cover (false tank)
On the left side... the pulse generator connector it be according to the master Jedi
