new owner

I have a question . on the doess where the warning lights are there is on below the oil light that come on after I have shifted through all the gears . What does the light mean , it looks like the 2 heads on the 1200 engine ?

Next question ...Engine runs very warm almost red at 55 mph cools down at slowerspeeds ..I was told a new water pump would sole problem ..one with more flow .??.Thanks for the info

Not familiar with the Interstate gauges as they are different than the Aspencade.
As for running hot at speed. It could be a bad thermostat. If it's suck open or missing it could let the water flow to fast and not have time to cool thru the radiator. Just a thought.

Electrical diagram shows a Overdrive Indicator lamp.
Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.

Thanks for the Info . I ordered a owners manual but in the mean time where to I check the coolant and water levels ...

Open the top shelter like you are going to put gas in. Remove the the tray above the air cleaner, in front of the fuel cap. The radiator overfill bottle is on the right side as you sit on the MC. To check the radiator you will have to pull off the top shelter.
