I have an 85 Limited with 81,000 miles. The clock is stuck at 1:00 with the Pacific time zone flashing. This bike has set for a couple of years. I have tried the clock reset button but it does not change things. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rick

Re: 85 Limited clock problem
Ignition has to be on. Tap the 'clock' button on the trip computer and that will change the time zone. Then use the time adjust knob to set the correct time. Yes, the time zone map always blinks.

Re: 85 Limited clock problem
Sorry I can't actually help but I have been watching this post for help as well.
I have the same model with the same problem but mine also effects the air suspension readout and most of the digital dash/computer.
mine has been sitting for a while and may be for at least another year before I get time to do what I want.
the only thing I had found worked was to turn the ignition on, if it didn't work then off and on again until everything worked.
Hope the previous reply was all you needed to get it working.
I have tried new battery but no difference.
Frank

Re: 85 Limited clock problem
Frank,
My air suspension will show "EEE" on both readouts once in a while. Like you, generally turning the ignition off then restarting the bike cures the issue. It'll be put toward the tail end of a long list of up and coming maintenance items.
