I didnt know that we cannot edit our posts. I I would love some input on how you all like the how to's. I do hope that they are helpfull in some way. They all deal with the compressor switches. and hopefully help in preventing costly replacements. Im assuming that people know how to remove the compressor and its componits. I hop you like it please let me know if i shold make any changes as well.

Thanks for the info!

I have to tear into mine as it is getting a little 'forgetful' time to time. It is always good to know what I'm getting into before I open it up!!

Do you use needle nose, parallel jaw, or some other type plyers for button removal? Seems like it might be fairly easy to mark or damage this 25 year old plastic...

Thanks again!

take the neddle nose pliers and slide them under the button and gently lift up the button and it will pop right off.
