Does anyone know if the ignition switch from the 84 Interstate and the 84 Aspencade are the same? i need to know if the wiring harness will plug in right.

It depends if you're talking about the entire lock set assembly (includes key lock, trim, etc) - if that's the case, it has a different part number - but it does look like it would fit.

If you're just looking at the switch or the switch base, they are identical part numbers:

Interstate:

35010-MG9-681 LOCK SET
35100-MG9-682 SWITCH ASSY.
35104-MG9-405 BASE, CONTACT

Aspencade:

35010-MG9-931 LOCK SET
35100-MG9-682 SWITCH ASSY.
35104-MG9-405 BASE, CONTACT
