Speaker install on a 1987 interstate

This bike has the stock speaker covers brown in color and when removed they expose a hole cut for a 4" speaker but thier is one issue after putting in the speaker what do you cover it with and also the rest of the exposed dash that was covered up by the speaker covers. Hello! Although I've not been involved in the stereo business in many years, I installed them in automobiles during the mid eighties at a major stereo retailer to help pay for school. At that time, just about every set of aftermarket speakers came with their own grills and every stereo shop I ever had anything to do with also sold grills. You could buy a set of grills large enough to cover the blemishes and install a quality set of 4" speakers under them. Good luck!
