Not yet Polished Alumiun side covers part II

Postby WVJefo » Sun Aug 12, 2012 4:11 pm

Hi guys

Still working on the side covers. Not there yet but closer. Have some gaps to take care of around the tank. I will be using trim around the edges to give it a softer look. Hopefully the next set will be worth welding up the top corner & giving the Al a high polish. For now the battery terminals are covered in three layers of electrical tape.

Thoughts & opinions always welcome

Jeff

those look really nice, I like them a lot. Should be some kind of insulation that could be sprayed or applied to the underside to prevent shorts at the battery availible on the aftermarket isn't there ?

Man those look nice! I'm glad you're going to polish them! It would be a shame to cover them with paint and hide the fact they are special.
