heel toe shifter

Postby rcmanwood » Wed Aug 22, 2012 3:58 pm

I am new to goldwings and don't know alot about them. I wonder if anyone knows if a heel toe shifter (markland brand made for a 83 1100 ) will fit a 85 1200 aspencade? Any help in this area would be appreciated. rcmanwood@gmail.com

The Markland shifter for the 1100 won't fit the 1200 - the mounting points are different.

I installed a heel/toe w/floor boards on my 86 1200i. Bought from e-bay @ about $380.00. Little over a year latter and the whole shifter unit appears to be bent downward and out.

Be careful where you buy these. I would see a dealer next time rather than e-bay.

Just an fyi...
