Really Baffled

Postby Don A » Thu Aug 23, 2012 3:19 pm

I've ordered a new passenger back rest for my 87 Aspencade. For the life of me I can't figure out how the old one comes off. I thought maybe it was fastened to the trunk lid and all I had to do was open the trunk, take some screws or nuts loose and put the new one on. Anybody know how to get the old one off?

You got it...There's a few nuts that hold the top part on.Pull the studs loose from the lid and lift it up out of the bottom clips.

You guys are awesome!! Saved again by y'all. First the clutch slave/master, then the timing belts, now this. If you all keep this up I might just turn out to be a halfway decent Goldwing'er. Thanks a bunch.
