I haven't heard my 84' GL1200 run so I want to turn over the engine by hand just in case there was an issue, it moves 180 degrees and gets stuck, go the other direction and again stuck. I removed both timing belts and turn each head to TDC and the crank is still doing it, thrown rod, spun bearing, somthing I'm not considering??
I have made sure it is out of gear selecting down into first and a half click back to neutral.

I'm thinking at this time it may be the starter, If i rotate looking at the crank bolt couter-clockwise I hear a motor whine. Anywho i'll drop the starter and keep you updated.
