Well I have a couple of things that I need info on. 1st is my wing sounds like a Harley when shifting no idea why ?? 2nd is that the bike has 31k on it and when riding it makes funny noises up front I cant really say its knocking sound. I have been told its normal. 3rd is I am trying to decide if I should sell it and get a 1500 It is a very nice bike tho I purchased it from the original Green Hornet Van Zant Williams great guy. Anyway should I also check the Timing belts?? any help with these issues would be great thanks to all and safe riding to you and yours.

Yes timing belts
No it's not supposed to knock in the front end
IDK what a harley shifting sounds like so no answer for that.
1500's are nice bikes, more power than a 12, more bag space, similar design. I've never had a 12 but I have friends that have/do and they all say the 12 has a sportier feel than the 15's. It's your call. If I was shopping for another wing I'd seriously look at another 15, no doubt about it.

As far as the shifting, try using Delo LE or Rotella oils. It helps to quiet down the goldwing 'clunk'.
