A small 85 LTD problem

Post by badman2112 » Sat Sep 01, 2012 11:20 pm

I have been working on my LTD for over a year now. I've cleaned every connector, replaced every sensor, changed the timing belts, installed another computer, even found a NEW tps sitting on a dealer's shelf in Idaho. Changed pulse generators, PB/PL, rectifier, fuel pump and fuses, cleaned the injectors, new hoses filters. You name it. I've begun to think there isn't much I haven't been able to cure on this old girl........except.......for some reason I can't figure out how to remount the horns in the front side fairing pieces! I think I've gone simple in the head! It can't be that tough. Yes, they've been out for quite a while. Thats probably the trouble. The memory just isn't there. Can anyone tell me, or show me a photo of  how they remount? I'm dying to get all of the electrical components together so I can fire this beauty up. Thanks

I just came across your post, I have a Ltd as well and absolutely love it.
I will take my fairing lowers off tomorrow and take a picture of how the horn is mounted and post it here for you.
