1200ltd fueling prob.

bike is getting way to much fuel all the time. it is not ride able. fuel pressure checks out ok.what do i test next?

Usually in those cases that would be an indicator of a stuck float. One other thought, is the choke working right?

Sorry, I did not know any 1200s were fuel injected. I do not know the workings of that system so someone else with more knowledge of that one will have to chime in.

Too much fuel delivery is related to the ECM.It tells the injectors how long to stay open.The ECM gets the information to determine that from the throttle body control.It's like a volume control.the further you twist the throttle,the longer they stay open.
This is the first step.The ECM has a very precise voltage reference output ( 5 volts) that feeds the sensor.It must be exactly 5 volts.no more than 0.2 volts off.from there,the output of the throttle control should vary from near zero to near 5 volts.
It's the primary control.there are secondary "fine tuning" sensors too.Like 2 vacuum canisters with 3 wires on each.
