Fuel Hose?

Postby rjlv25 » Tue Oct 09, 2012 7:46 pm

My '87 Interstate looks like the hoses at the fuel filter are 2 different inside diameters. Larger at the filter and smaller at the tank and fuel pump. Obsolete from Honda, so do you have any suggestions on replacement? I got a new filter from Honda, but I can see the hoses are cracked (probably original).

If you replace the hoses with a hose that is close in size, so that it's snug (not necessarily tight), you can get away with just cinching it down tight with a quality stainless screw clamp, and it will seal with no worry of leaks.

Thanks. Maybe something between the two, like a 5/16 or 3/8 instead of metric?
