Postby CharlaineC » Tue Oct 30, 2012 2:41 pm

So I did a full upper fairing change and repaired some damaged wiring. she ran fine this morning I removed the fairing again so I could replace some bolts that I had left out do to oncoming rain. everything was perfect. but after i fixed the wiring properly now she wont start i'm pissed. so i called the shop and am going to have them go through her and fix everything while i fix the lower fairing plastics

Ok so after doing a ton of research I found out the problem was C80 the third connector down on the right side connections in the neck. seams it needs a good cleaning and to be seated better. its funny how I found the problem while the bike was at the dealers. you would think they would check that first. with that all fixed I'm going to have them work on wiring the fog lights and help me figure out how to wire the new led body lights. then I'm going have them do the gaskets and seals for me.
