Paint code 1984 GL1200

Postby frankiemk » Mon Jun 01, 2009 6:27 pm

I have a 1984 Aspencade which I am presently restoring, I live in Scotland UK and reside quite a distance away from any dealerships, I was trying to source a paint kit for the project through various channels including ebay, the problem is there is no paint code sticker on the bike anymore, I tried the code from one of the manuals, parts manual I think, but no one seems to recognise it, could someone if possible supply the correct code to me.
As previously mentioned it is a 1984 Aspencade and the colour I believe is Premier Metalic Biege, any help on this subject would be gratefully appreciated.

This one's easy again! Have a look on the manuals page, for this document:

Honda Goldwing Paint colors and codes

I think you should find what you're looking for in it.

Where in Scotland are you? We're going over there in August.

Hi, I had used the paint code from the manuals but was getting nowhere in trying to order, I have now managed to locate an establishment in England who can supply the paint in 400ml aerosol cans and general touch up kits, they are called R.S.Bike Paints and guarantee to match any bike paint out there, if anyone else has had similar probs they are the people to get in touch with, they also ship worldwide.

I live in a small village in Central Scotland in the county of Stirlingshire, roughly halfway between the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh and about 10 miles south of the City of Stirling itself, your definitely coming over at the right time, August, the height of our summer, no guarantee of fair weather for in this country you can catch 4 seasons in one day, don't let me put you off, this is just a scotsman being a scotsman, we moan about the weather all the time, when its sunny its too hot, when raining too wet, its a national obsession.
Seriously though you will have ball, this is the greatest small nation and country on the planet, you'll see for yourself, anything you want to know please feel free to ask, it would be my pleasure.

Once again thanx for your help,

Best regards,
Frank
